Free accessibility scan

Does your website meet the European Accessibility Act?

Since 28 June 2025, websites and online services sold to consumers in the EU must meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. Enter your address and we check your homepage right away: what fails, where on the page, and how serious it is. Free, without obligation.

Scan your website

What you receive

  • A score and a priority list

Every issue ranked by severity, so you know what to fix first and what can wait.

  • Screenshots of where it goes wrong

Your homepage with every problem marked, plus a close-up and the code of each failing element.

  • A copy in your inbox

The summary is emailed to you as well, so you can forward it to your web developer.

How it works

  1. Enter your website

Fill in the form with your website address. It takes a minute.

  2. We check your homepage

The page is loaded once in a real browser and tested against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules. We do not log in, submit forms or test for security vulnerabilities.

  3. Read the report, then decide

The full report opens right here. Want the issues fixed, or a full scan of up to 15 pages? We are happy to help.

Scan your website

The report opens on this page and a summary goes to your email. We may contact you once about the results. No newsletter, no follow-up sequence.

We use your details only for this scan and its results. See our privacy policy.

What the quick scan can and cannot tell you

The free scan checks your homepage only. When the page cannot be loaded in a browser, we fall back to a quick check of its HTML, which cannot test colour contrast or content that appears after JavaScript runs; the report says which of the two you got.

Automated testing in general finds roughly a third to half of WCAG issues. Whether alternative text is actually meaningful, whether everything works with a keyboard alone and whether a screen reader can follow the page all need a human check. The score is a tool for setting priorities, not a statement of legal compliance.

Who has to comply

The European Accessibility Act covers products and services sold to consumers, including online shops, banking, passenger transport, e-books and electronic communication. The technical standard behind it, EN 301 549, refers to WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Micro-enterprises that provide services, with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet of at most two million euros, are exempt. Even then, an accessible website reaches more people and is easier for search engines to read.
